Poster

This is our final poster for our film 'Liberation'. We spent a long time re-drafting it so that it could become a poster that defined our film in the best possible way. The titling that we opted for is the same titling that is used in the titling of our film- we felt that it was necessary to incorporate this hand-written feel throughout all of our media products.

We wanted to give our poster that 'clean' stripped back look where it's nothing but our character looking the audience in the eye. We really felt that this poster did allow the audience to meet with our character Louis, but doesn't reveal all of the narrative- only the parts that are necessary.

Overall, we are pleased with the outcome and with what we have learnt from 'InDesign' throughout the process of our poster. Even though we didn't know how time-consuming and intricate creating an innovative poster can be, we feel that we have truly pushed ourselves to create a product ready to promote Liberation.

  1. As Andy and I both said, there are problems with this design which you left too late to do properly. You don't even appear to have acted on my advice on Thursday, and the poster as a whole has significant problems that we both pointed out to you. Again, you left this work too late and these are the consequences of that. I have stressed repeatedly that more time needed to be spent on the production work out of lesson time, and Dilys - there are still very significant omissions to your blog entries, many of which cannot now be addressed as you have missed the time to do this.
